Awning Manufacturing

Miami Awning always aims to be innovative and is constantly updating our facility and equipment to meet the challenges of our dynamic market. Our manufacturing facility is located in the heart of the City of Miami, Florida; locating us near the Ports of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Our plant covers over an acre, providing us with the necessary area for laying out and manufacturing all of your frame and canvas needs. Our frame shop handles both steel and aluminum and utilizes mig, tig, and rod welding. The canvas shop has the latest hot-air sealer, barsealer, and sewing machines to fabricate both large and small projects. We pride ourselves at paying attention to detail to make your project the best!

Installation of large trusses
Fabrication of large projects entails meeting with the owner, architect, city and contractor to make it all work! Careful planning, scheduling and coordination are necessary for manufacturing and installing. Shown is installation of the Dolphin Mall Valet Canopy. The main trusses are made of 4 inch diameter steel pipe. Trusses were manufactured at our plant and shipped to the jobsite. They were then lifted into place onto columns with custom plates. All of this facilitated the installation of the project.

For overseas projects
Manufacturing for an overseas installation entails fabricating the canopy so that it will be made to be able to fit in containers and ship safely. Proper planning and engineering are required. Multiple trusses are utilized to provide strength for engineering and at the same time keep the aesthetics of a project. Attention is given to quality, detail and finishes. All these combined make for smooth installations.
